# `Kotoba`

Kotoba (言葉) adds rich text to a Phoenix app.

It ships a prebuilt editor, an Ecto content type, and safe rendering, so a
Phoenix app gets a rich-text field with no Node.js build step of its own.

Start with the [Quickstart](quickstart.md), then the
[Editing features](features.md) and [Rendering](rendering.md) guides.
The main modules are
`Kotoba.Components` (the editor and the rendered content),
`Kotoba.Content` (the Ecto type), `Kotoba.Live` (the LiveView helpers)
and `Kotoba.Node` (custom nodes).

# `version`

```elixir
@spec version() :: String.t()
```

Returns the current Kotoba version.

## Examples

    iex> Kotoba.version()
    "0.5.0"
